I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any commission request for any reason. Reasons for refusal can include my personal comfort and current artistic ability.

I reserve the right to refuse to work with clients who have a history of using GenAI (generative artificial intelligence) or blockchain technology (including cryptocurrency and NFTs), engaging with abusive content, or for hostile or hateful behavior.

Please be courteous and patient during communications, and please contact me the soonest possible if any issues or conflicts arise. I can be reached either via VGen (preferred for commissions) or Bluesky. Rudeness or hostility is not appreciated and may result in refusal of service.

As of this time, I will only accept payment via VGen.

I refuse to accept cryptocurrency or other similar forms of currency.

All payment is to be done upfront.

It is the client's responsibility to provide me with details of their commission and references. The more the merrier. References can include character images or sheets, stock photos or even stick figures for poses, etc. If I feel I do not have adequate details, I will contact you for more information.

You may commission me to make PSDs for personal use printing. If you intend to make prints, please inform me in advance and provide print details (size, templates, print company, etc.) so I can properly prepare the commissioned PSD.

You are not permitted to use the commission for AI learning or blockchain-related purposes.

The commission is for personal use only. It cannot be used for commercial purposes without my explicit permission and prior agreement (i.e. reselling, usage in a commercial video, game, book, etc.).

You may use the commission as a personal graphic or display it on your own social media or website. Please provide me with full credit somewhere on your page or post by linking to my Bluesky handle (@rustyburacedraws.bsky.social) or VGen page.

With the exception of minor cropping or resizing for personal graphics, such as profile icons, you may not alter the finished commissioned. This includes the use of AI altering or upscaling. If you need changes to be made after the commission’s completion, please contact me for details (see Process).

Please be aware that I am a slow artist. My work speed will depend on my workload, complexity of the commission(s), my health, and general life commitments. Commissions will be done in a first-come first-serve order. Depending on these factors, it may take up to a month or two for me to finish a commission.

I will show periodic updates of your commission at each phase (sketching, lineart, coloring) for review and corrections. Once a phase is approved, I will proceed to the following phase. You may also request to see more periodic updates, but please do not pester me for updates.

You may request changes to your commission when I am already underway on it. Please bear in mind that significant changes (such as redrawing the commission or taking on additional work) may incur extra charges, to be negotiated.

Additional minor adjustments can be freely requested after I have already completed and sent the finished commission. Adjustments can include minor lineart or color correction, or resizing.

You must first contact me for any cancellations and refunds. Issuing a chargeback without prior refund agreement will result in blacklisting from further service.

A refund may be requested if I have not yet started work on your commission, in which case I will fully refund the cost. If I have already started work on the commission, I will not accept refund requests then.

If I choose to cancel a commission for any reason, at any process phase, I will fully refund you. I reserve the right to cancel any commission for any reason.
